No access to temperatures of Core i7-12700H neither using the stable build or nightly build

Open PatZer0 opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

CPU clocks and temperatures are all blank, aleady running in Administrator mode. I have tried both the 0.9.2 stable release or the latest nightly build, none of them worked. Laptop model: Lenovo Legion Y9000P 2022 (12700H+3060) Report.txt and CPU-Z screenshot uploaded.

Could this problem caused by software conflict?

Hi, was seeing the same on v0.93 running on a Lenovo T560 (Intel Core i5-6200U) Found a solve/workaround:

Checking the LibreHardwareMonitorReport.txt, I noticed a line:

Ring0 Status: Installing driver "N:\DropBox\BIN\hardware monitoring\libre-hardwaremonitor-0.9.3\LibreHardwareMonitor.sys" failed and file exists First Exception: StartService returned the error code: 00000003. Second Exception: StartService returned the error code: 00000003.

Apparently Libre does not like to run from a network drive, so I moved it to a local C:\librehw folder and now the driver installs fine, temperatures are read and all is well
