Can't update filters for ND on Fx Nightly.

I don't believe this is a filter issue per se. For the past month or so uBO (latest version) shows that an update is needed for

  1. Nano Defender Integration
  2. Nano Filters
  3. Nano Filters - Whitelist.

All your instructions to use ND on uBO are being followed.

When I try to do an update the spinner keeps spinning for a long time. Sometimes it will stop with nothing updated. Other times it will stop spinning and often will then prevent me from getting to any site. I have to exit Fx and fire it up again. Even entering the Filter URL in the URL bar will also produce a spinner with nothing downloaded.

I'm on the latest version of Fx Nightly although this same situation happened on the last Nightly version. Running Windows 10 Pro with all the latest updates.

If all use:

/repo/NanoAdblocker/NanoFilters/master/NanoMirror/

so you have latest version - repo is still read only without updates.

Maybe this was bug in:

  • browser or
  • overloaded https://gitcdn.xyz/ or
  • your ISP (to exclude possible using Proxy/VPN/Tethering by Wi-Fi or USB).
