sign in error: unable to get local issuer certificate
I can't sign in leetcode.com and the log is
[ERROR] You are not login yet?

I have the same problem and I closed the proxy.

Thank you for reporting this. Does your password contain any special words in it? I'm not sure if it is possible for you to change to a simple password (just for testing purpose) to see if the problem still exist. It seems that someone has the same problem as yours: https://github.com/jdneo/vscode-leetcode/issues/304

Thank you for the quick response. While it supposed that same password should both work for the website and the extension. But since you could not login using your previous password in the extension. I think there must be something wrong with the implementation.
Since the password contains secret information. So is it possible for you to just give me some hint to help investigation? Like, what kind of character will make the login fail.

I have a similar issue here that i am able to login/refresh status etc. but always failed to do any thing about problems, like preview problem, submit/Test solution. it show the error [ERROR] Error: unable to get local issuer certificate
I search for solution and it said i need to add certificate file to config, but which file i should add? and which config i can add to ?

some more info: I change my password this time and now can not even login... my new password only include numbers and lowercase
@asen0057 Your error is different from @CayChance's. Changing password would not help I think.
Having same issue. got the below error while Testing solution

@jdneo I got this error in my work PC.With wireShark,I find that the firewall of my cimpany changed HTTPS handshake process.The ca file is replaced by the firewall.But I haven't found a solution for the problem,the firewall is not controlled.
