What do you mean by "Local Mod" folder? The mod manager reads the game's mods folder, so all importing does is copy/paste the file into that folder.

Mod paks go in this folder:

%LOCALAPPDATA%Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods

There's a shortcut to it in the mod manager.

If you get a locked error like that, it means some program is locking the file, such as paks being locked when the game is running.

@LaughingLeader I have the same issue. I can pack the file using the exact same folder pathing as the game and it works, but it lists the mod as an Override file. If I use any other folder setup your BG3 MM says it's locked by another process. I have even done a full reboot and your MM was the first thing I opened manually and it still said it's locked. No Steam, no game, no ConverterApp.

[Edit] Looks like my issue was the meta.lsx file, and it was likely my fault. Just a heads up so you can identify the issue and close this bug report.

Would you be able to explain how you fixed the issue? My friend was running is having a similar issue!

Hello It's because of VORTEX. If you remove BG3 and its mods from VORTEX, BG3 Mod manager (and all mods) work perfectly
