Cmake: allow hardware debug

This PR sums up an old forum post on how to cross compile with GDB capabilities (https://groups.google.com/g/lsts-toolchain/c/hs1tl1oXHFc). When running cmake with -DDEBUG:

• do not strip binaries
• set g flag

Hope this can be useful for someone else as well.
