Delete database for novels in your library

Open Sakya22 opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

Describe your suggested feature

This feature would be used to delete the database for novels in your library, similar to the delete database feature currently present in the app that let's you do it for novels not in your library. This would significantly ease the process of fixing the duplicate chapters glitch on Novelupdates, which otherwise requires you to remove all novels affected by this glitch, delete database, then add all of them back one by one.

Possible way to include this in the app would be to: Disable the "Novel in Library" check that takes place when migrating a novel. That way, you can "migrate" to the same novel, which should delete the local copy & re-fetch metadata+chapter list.

Is this feature planned?

Imo this is a very dangerous feature (similar to delete account). We can add an option to clear cache when user remove novels from library instead

That seems quite good, or even just a drop-down option on one novel.
