Read/Insert/Edit midi events attributes in plain old style form window by inputting actual values, not just turning knobs.
Enhancement Summary
Just starting to use this software. I encountered this software a bit too limited to use it, I thank you for making it though, I'll leave you a suggestion I think matters a lot as an amateur piano player that wants to record with a midi keyboard and edit songs:
I was confused by the fact I couldn't almost google any mention of "midi event" or "attribute" that was related to lmms.
### Feature request: I searched extensively to see if there was a precise way to edit a note start time, but there was only manual dragging. I also want to read the value in a number, in the case of note KeyOn / KeyOff times, it is also important their time expressed according to the time signature, that is not only in milliseconds, but in what bar number, and then beat number, and so on to smaller increments one might express, if possible. But if not that's just an extra, at the very least, I need to know the times of the notes I'm editing :). I haven't experimented with other midi events or attributes to see if their are editable, I know velocity and panning are, however they also seem to be by hand, not by inputting and exact number, which is unprecise.
Implementation Details / Mockup
Click on notes in piano roll, either with some mouse button or combination, that opens up a window for that note OR event (these could be denoted by another color), letting you read and then edit the note attributes just by inputting numbers in classic text box form, such as key on and key off times in milliseconds or musical meter units if possible (even better would be in both, of course)
