Is there demand for SingerBot?

It has certainly peaked my curiosity. I've used computer-synthesized voice plugins before and they are certainly fun although not extremely productive. :)

Soooo long ago.. those pics 👴 Yee 'singer-bot, it was not really good.. but still kind of 'fun', but the thing is, now with VSTs support, (a vet dream in those days) you can use stuff like Alter-ego, and those are in a completely different league, than old SB. Adding a 'new' Singer-bot should imo only happen, if the quality is significantly improved

The quality is as good as the voices you feed to the Festival back end (and as Festival itself). 64-bit Festival also needs to be fixed to avoid using 32-bit version.

Looks like SingerBot is a text-to-speech (TTS) synthesizer. 😮 The forum topic Tres linked to dates back to 2012. ⌛️ When was SingerBot introduced and when and why was it removed?
