Detect list type and apply as ol/ul@type
ol/ul@type has been added back to the HTML5 spec, allowing us to specify the list type as letter, number, roman, &c. It has always been my intention for ReMarkable to detect the type of list and reflect this in the HTML, but the type attribute was removed from the spec early on.
To do this, ReMarkable will have to detect the type of list element used as the first item in the list and output the type for the whole list accordingly. This can be done reasonably easy with PHP5.3 anonymous functions for the list search / replace. At the same time this will make solving issue #2 easy.
