I didnt tested it yet

Sorry I don't get why this should be relevant for this app. Probably we should not set this flag.
Android documentation claims the forceDarkAllowed flag is there for apps that don't inherit a DayNight theme:
forceDarkAllowed
Android 10 provides Force Dark, a feature for developers to quickly implement a dark theme without explicitly setting a DayNight theme.
If your app uses a dark theme, such as Theme.Material), Force Dark isn't applied. Similarly, if your app's theme inherits from a DayNight theme, Force Dark isn't applied due to the automatic theme switching.
@Kr0oked I think I have made mistake with versions. On your reasoning I show you screenshots with the compass with light and dark theme on my device
Does the first screenshot show the app when "Dark" design is choosen in the app settings? And does the second screenshot show the app when "Light" design is choosen in the app settings?
And you have one of these Xiaomi devices as mentioned in the reddit post?
I could not reproduce this issue. When I activate the "force-dark" mode in an emulator nothing happens. Light, Dark and Follow-system option behave exactly the same as before.
@Kr0oked yes, yes, yes, I think that is Xiaomi specific problem, but anyway why Allow system force Dark theme if we have dark theme? That is my line of thinking, it shouldnt break anything. It fixed my problem with another app, but Im going to test on this app today and fix the problem with versions
