subscript on large parenthesis not at the bottom

If you have a fraction surrounded by parentheses, sometimes you want to put a subscript on the right parenthesis. In MathTexEngine, the subscript appears vertically centered instead of at the bottom.

I'm trying this in Makie.jl:
