Moes MS-104BZ not sending or Z2MQTT not receiving state

What happened?

I installed a Moes MS-104BZ to control the light and fan in the little boys room. Light turns on, timer starts. Lights turns off, timer stops. If time passed > 2min, fan is turned on. I think the scenaria is pretty clear ;-) When i use Home Assistant to turn on the light, everything works. Light turns on and timer is started. But when i toggle the physical light switch the status is not reported back. The light turns on but i'm not receiving the on/off status in Zigbee2MQTT. So either the device is not sending the status or Zigbee2MQTT is not processing the message. No mentions in log of receiving a message from the device.

I did have problems adding the device. I followed the instructions but each time i'm getting "interview failed". But the device is added and usable in Zigbee2MQTT . I tried it 8 times with the same result each time so i left it alone. But i'm getting the idea this is the problem.

What did you expect to happen?

I expected the status being sent when i toggle the physical light switch
