[BUG?] assets dont load properly with reloading/restarting
this is on macOS, using the latest kode studio 17.9.1.
but on more than 1 account, when say bringing in new assets, such as images, sounds etc of an existing project.
run the project to make sure the assets will be found. checking the debug console it does show that it has been found or is in the assets folder.
on trying to find the assets however, using kha.Assets, dont always come up, id say maybe 80% of the time they do not.
i then would delete the build folder, try again, nothing. even restarting the haxe server [just in case], nothing.
even deleting the build folder, restarting kode studio then trying, a lot of the time does not fix this
then randomly, they will start to get picked up. its really strange.
the previous version didnt have much of a problem with asset finding etc. but i guess it because something has changed inside vscode that could of messed with something else.
its really weird. but just thought to share since it does become an odd battle
"don't come up" <- are you talking about code completion?
sorry, no. i should have made that clearer of it not auto-complete.
but say i type in Assets.blobs.something_xml - even though its in the assets folder, has also been picked up on the console that its in. a red line still will show & even on a run, will say has not been found.
so then i have to go thru those steps to see if i can get it working or loading
So - red line, but it does compile successfully? And then it doesn't run successfully?
compiling seems fine. the running gets cut off, saying it cant be found. wont run anything until its been found. then ill do those steps & it may then find what i put in the assets folder.
but cant run project obviously without it being found. it does have its completion cache which build the folder & thats fine. no problems on that, only the part where it somehow is not locating the assets when they have been imported in to an existing project
Haxe language server started with Kha at /usr/local/lib/kha
Initializing completion cache...
Done.
