what php version that this package uses, and how to change php version?

I have to versions of php installed in my local machine: One in /usr/bin/php the other with debug installed e newer version of php in /usr/local/php5/bin/php. I would like to used the /usr/local/php5/bin/php. I do I know what version this package is using, and how to change that?
