For anyone that it's not working for.
The DLL requires ASUS System Analysis to be running for it to work. And if you're using GHelper along with this and disabled Asus services, you can still disable all the other services while having ASUS System Analysis service still running.
Press the Windows button along with the R key and type "services.msc".
Locate the 'ASUS System Analysis'.
Right click on it, and press the 'Properties' button in the dropdown menu. Set 'StartMethod' to 'Automatic' and press 'Ok'.
Right click on it again, and this time press "Start" to start the service.
Done!
If it doesn't work, it might be that the your device doesn't work with it unfortunately.
Tested on my A409FJ, indeed it needs System Analysis to be running to have any changes happen to the fans
