3b+ install?

I purchased and set up Raspberry Pi 3b+ for the kids, flashed the SD cards with the latest image of Kano OS. Fire up the devices and lo and behold I end up with nothing more than the lovely Raspberry Pi Rainbow screen. Is there proper instructions somewhere to install this on 3b+?
