Animations in Pkg.test demos choppy unless actively moused over

I have not tested animations outside of the demo environment, but this occurred for all demos except for contourf.jl oddly enough. The GIF below shows the general behavior. I thought this might have something to do with graphics switching on my laptop, but disabling it, at least in the energy management options, didn't change anything.

No, this is from a behaviour change in Reactive I think ;) Never got around to find the real source of it!

If it helps at all, when I run the example independently using include the animation is fine.

I looked into this a bit and I'm a bit clueless why this is happening... I will need to have a deep look into the internals of Reactive and my event handling in Makie anyways, so I guess I will just try to solve this in Makie
