ImageFusion package installation failed due to retired rgdal dependency

Hi,

I tried to install the package, but it failed, probably because it attempts to install the rgdal package, which is no longer available in my version of R. Would it be possible to install the package without rgdal, or could you suggest a workaround? I only need the package for the imginterp_task function.
