macOS version also crashes upon first load of cd

as per title of this issue, it also crashes the first time you try to load the cd, but then loads the cd when you open the app second time around no issues:

You have these issues on which version of MacOS, which architecture? If this is reproducible, please do following:

• Start the program
• in settings switch logging to debug
• open the log file (also through settings)
• load the CD.

If the program crashes, please attach the crash report from MacOS as well as the content of the log file to this issue.

macOS monterey 12.2 apple silicon m1 max

Same issue on win10 21H1 first load crashes the windows hourglass icon appears, it does not even write debug log file, I am not loading from CD but instead clicking Load CUE Sheet to a folder with the .cue file and .flac files. 2nd attempt I saw it loading ok. It seems random sometimes even 2nd attempt it crashes.
