[Bug|Design] - SDA appears "blurry" on high resolution

Open HiveSolution opened this issue 8 years ago • 2 comments

I'm running my main display on 2560x1440 and with that resolution SDA looks blurry.

When moving it over to my second screen running on 1920x1080 it looks sharp.

The interface doesn't seem to scale that well.

As you can see from the screenshot, the file informations to the left are sharp, while SDA itself is really blurry.

This doesn't seem to be feasible with the way SDA is currently written. We would have to move to WPF, which is a big project, to make this happen the right way.

This may happen in the future, but it will be a while.

It is not necessary to move to WPF I figured. I am able to enable DPI awareness with the existing CefSharp 63.0.3 with one line change. Just add CefSharp.Cef.EnableHighDPISupport(); right after Main():

The fonts will no longer be blurry. But the forms and controls will look a bit cramped without further tuning.
