Was machine learning used for generating pairings?

The README makes it sound like ML was only used to generate the embedding/vectorization of fonts, and a formula is used to instrument that embedding and supply matches.

Bump! Interested to learn more about the code used behind this. The project does use ML, as the visualizer was built with Tensorflow.
