Issue with running policy cost in GCAM v6

Open Wentemi opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Hi I currently trying to run a policy cost scenario with GCAM v6. I have snippet of my setup shown below. The cost curve features are activated to create a cost curve with 5 marginal abatement points. image image

However, my setup fails to run the policy cost after the first run of the scenario. Please the error below. image image Any assistance to resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated.

I think the issue stems from an extra decimal or an unintended extra space or something really trivial in the XML. I would suggest to check the XMLs you are reading in, especially if you added new ones or added something to old ones.

I'm having the same issue (in v7), with GCAM stopping in 1975 of the second run. When I follow the "Debug" prompt to see where the error is I get this error in the profit rate. Seems weird that it would be a problem in 1975 in the second run if it solved in the first

I solved this by simplifying my ghg link file - naming the policy "CO2" and not including CO2 as part of the link
