Missing defaults "compression method" that old version kept saved..

I'm observing the same as well, ideally the settings should be stored proper. Also to note that the indicated XPRESS8K is not selected by default, it is always XPRESS4K selected and you have to manually go in and select XPRESS8K (every time), along with ticking the ignore uncompressable files option.
