I don't think this is right. It would both be a pretty major mistake and it is inconsistent with a script I wrote to see the dimensions of a pretty complicated screen calibration tool I wrote. See the dimensions resolved when I make three different assumptions of color distortion on a 1428x803 screen: image The closest to the actual size is from the inverse brown-conrady, even if small. However, the only person that could answer us is a RealSense developer or representative.
