insert numbers by position order instead of selected order
I found when my selection began at the random position, the beginning of inserting number is also along with the position, that's make me confused. I think it is better to insert by the editor position order instead of my selections order.
I would love to see this PR merged, I need this so bad.

I don't want to move you to another extension, but you might have a look to my extension insertNums. Since today (version 0.5.1) you can sort the output, so you can decide, if you want to insert by the selections order (default) or editor position order (with Option '$')
