Private tab worked great then just stopped working using Firefox ESR 24.2.0
Private tab has been working great for a long time and then one morning it stopped. I'm not good with scripting but if someone tells me what to change to repair, I can do it.
Strange, I've tested with Firefox 24.6.0 and (after update) 24.7.0 and looks like all works fine for me.
Also what you mean with "stopped working"? You cannot open new private tab anymore (menu items and button are still here, but opens non-private tab)? Or something else? And what about "Private Tab" checkbox in tab context menu?
Anyway, this may be caused by conflict with some another extension, see #110. So, please try on new empty Firefox profile (and if works fine here, this is some conflict with your extensions or configuration).
Exactly. It just opens a non private tab. I haven't changed anything or added any other addons. I'm wondering if another addon acted up and now screwed up this one?
Probably some addon was updated...
Also may be something useful in debug logs. Please set extensions.privateTab.debug = true in about:config, open error/browser console (Ctrl+Shift+J), clear all messages and then try to open new private tab.
