Suggestion - Potential Restaurant Clock in Solution - Tag Team deliveries

Summary

VERY rough first draft of an idea... but might start conversational wheels turning...

Employees clock in at a restaurant as either counter or delivery.

If one of each type is clocked in the following can occur:

Counter Worker Experience

• Every 10-15 (randomized) minutes, If there is a "delivery" worker clocked in, and not on an active delivery, a phone prop (i.e. v_res_fa_phone ) behind the counter will (gently) ring.
• When answered by someone clocked in as "counter", the phone will present an order and address with an assign option.
• A UI pops up to assign the order to a "clocked in" delivery worker on duty that isn't already on a delivery.
• The Counter Worker assigns the task.
• When delivery is completed, the counter worker gets 20% of the payout
• Counter workers get clocked out if away from the restaurant for more than 15 minutes

Delivery Driver Experience

• When a counter worker assigns a job, the delivery person is alerted with the order and address displayed on screen.
• A waypoint is set, and a 10-minute timer starts
• The delivery, when completed, pays out 80% of the payout to the person that drops it off.
• If the delivery is not done, the driver gets flagged. 2 consecutive flags and they are clocked out.

Reason

• Allow for clocking in at restaurants
• Encourage people to work IN restaurants by providing alternate income
• Make delivery jobs more social
• Add accountability
• RP opportunities created by having to juggle more aspects of the job

I think this is a pretty nice idea, just one that will require a bit of work :)
