I was frustrated and in a moment of 'hold my beer' featuring 'fluff that' I modified the ebuild of samba and swapped libunwind for llvm-libunwind and started the compile using clang.

Surprisingly it seems like samba didn't complain and even did its job after compilation. Besides that I have no idea why samba needs an unwinder anyways as I thought that stuff was for debugging...

The replacement may just transparently work when you try to debug, or it may not, you'll need to test.
