Current Behavior

This week I've experienced an issue. Windows always try to open the file C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\WinMemoryCleaner.exe.3.0.7.0.new whenever I login to Windows, the popup shows and disappears after several seconds (happened in 3 different computers of mine | 2 laptops and 1 pc)

Expected Behavior

The pophow should have never been shown.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start or Restart Windows
  2. Login
  3. See the popup

App Version

3.0.7.0

Windows Version

Windows 10

There was an issue with previous versions. You can, for now, look into what I explained regarding actions to take. https://github.com/IgorMundstein/WinMemoryCleaner/issues?q=is%3Aissue%20state%3Aclosed

Meanwhile, I will work on a single and small executable to reset the app more easily and solve behaviors like this.

Following your 3 steps doen't change this behavior, still. You say it's necessary (If I understood correctly), but never seen this in previous (3.05 earlier) versions, why not necessary before?

Please, check release 3.0.8

Also, this version should fix any issues you've been facing. If it doesn't, take also a look at this new README section: https://github.com/IgorMundstein/WinMemoryCleaner?tab=readme-ov-file#-reset-to-factory-defaults
