Have an additional column before the handlers to open and close rows in a treegrid

We need the option to have an additional column before the handlers to open and close rows in a treegrid. We want to have functionalities like a "pick color" component on column 1 like in the picture. And also that adding this component not prejudize the treegrid component performance.
