Share items between users

I would love the ability, in the immediate sense, to be able to share workout templates between users. I work out with other people and they also want to track their workout metrics. But it seems right now each user has to crest their own templates and this could be tricky over time to keep everybody on the same page.

In a broader sense I think it would be useful to be able to share many kinds of collections and sets of data between other users. Again, specifically, my wife and I could share a collection of "owned books" regardless of who input the book. But I could invite a friend to only have access to "lendable" books, for instance.

  • You can add a workout template to a collection and then add another user as a collaborator to that collection.
  • There is a feature called access links which you can use to share accounts.

Please let me know if these solve your use case.

Thanks for pointing these two things out. They are close to fitting I think. Some things that don't work / don't work how I think they should.

Link sharing

  1. Sharing links work, but the URL redirect doesn't seem to. I tested a couple urls to just books and just workout templates but always landed at the dashboard. Once "logged in" as a visitor though, I could manually redirect to the correct URL either by clicking my way there or just pasting into the browser.
  2. Ideally, I think, link sharing would be segmented to a specific type, list, or collection. Even though I'd want to share my book collection, I don't want that user to see my workout or weight measurement history but currently they'd seemingly get access to both.

Template sharing

  1. Adding a template to a collection and sharing the collection works! This fits what I need and is functional. Just one small issue. My other user can navigate to "menu > collections > shared workout templates > template" and then click "start workout". However if he goes to "Menu > Templates" directly he does not see the shared template there. What makes this particularly odd though is that I noticed the sharing link visitor does see the shared template in that location (as well as kind of everything else in the platform as noted above).
