IdentityServer3.Samples/source/WebHost (Windows Auth All-in-One) Sample

I need help with the following sample: IdentityServer3.Samples/source/WebHost (Windows Auth All-in-One). After building the project and running it, the Identity Server 3 host asks me for a username / password to authenticate. Could someone verify if this sample really works? No matter what credentials I try it does not authenticate me to my Windows Active Directory (NTLM). Am I misunderstanding how this should work?
