Dataverse creation, metadata block: I want to change from using the "Installation metadata default settings" at any point in my workflow in customizing metadata for my Dataverse collection

workflow: add Dataverse metadata block selection click on "citation" metadata block "view" option to see the fields, and decide I want to make some fields required uncheck "use Harvard Dataverse metadata settings" citation metadata should update to allow me to make fields required, but it does not. See image below.

  • Would need to modify JSF to fix bug. Instead, recommendation is that SPA will address the issue.
  • Added new label and moved to SPA column for future consideration
