Generation of report

It would be nice to have a routine which summarises the available results of the fitting in a report, e.g., slides generated using latex beamer. This could improve the workflow substantially for project work.

Sounds like a nice idea... The question is for whom this repost should be. For us? Then it this is easy to do. For cooperation partners? Then it's more complicated, since Pesto only shows optimization results but (currently) no fits (which could however be implemented in some way with some more work). And fits are more interesting for most cooperation partners.

In a first step only for us. The corresponding slides could than be copied and pasted in other presentations which also include plots regarding the fit. Currently it is always a lot of work to save the plot or numerical data (e.g. confidence intervals) in a format which can be easily reused.

Ok, that's right. I would then suggest saving plots as vector graphics, but not as matlab-figures. Matlab figures are easy to create via the plotting routines, but can not be used in presentations and need more storage. Saving numerical values is more complicated, I think... one could save a subset of the optimization result and confidence intervals, but saving numerical values of e.g. profiles or sampling for a second time has no good use, I think, since these are super-hard to interpret...
