Search field on smart phone(s) unusable

Describe the bug Tapping the search will make it disapear instead of prepping it for use.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to alpha homepage
2. Click on lens for search
3. prepare to start entering search term and tap into search field
4. See error

Expected behavior search fields stays there and accepts my input before search is triggered and results are shown

• Version very latest
