Loading login page kills session

Open datenbrei opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

Describe the bug When pressing the back-button in the browser, the session is killed when navigating back to the login page.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Login to the alpha
  2. Click on back button
  3. Forward button is grey and the session is lost - also in other browser tabs

Expected behavior Login and logoff should be explicite actions. The session should stay, as long it is not timed out and as long somebody does not log off intentionally.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Linux
  • Browser Firefox
  • Version 62

Hooking browser back buttons is not possible for most modern browsers. possible Solution: on login page check if session exists and redirect back to start

I thought we have done it already that way, anyway redirect to index will be fine!
