Add posts to pages

It would be great to have the ability to indicate in the post metadata if the post has a parent page. If no parent page is provided, the /blog page will default to the parent of the post.

I want to have Photos and Poetry pages where I could have posts for photo albums and poems

Or a way to add multiple blog pages with different names.

Instead of only having /blog/ you could make blog1 and blog2 and post in both of those separately. This is exactly what I want too, so I can have different categories to my blog. One for stories I write about, one for recommendations, etc. so that way it's better organized for the reader.
