Request: Option to disable auth on local network

Would it be possible to have an option to disable the Username & Password requirement from a local IP address or certain IP address range?

My Idea: If I am accessing HTPC-Manager from the WAN I would need to enter Username/Password but if I am accessing it from my LAN no Username/Password would be needed.

Im not really sure how this should play with the user accounts.
