Default comment sorting not saved for certain subreddits

For certain subreddits like r/churning, setting the default sorting for comments isn't saved. This may be due to the subreddit's settings but the ability to override that would be very useful.

I can confirm I'm having this issue too. It will only default to "old", when I tried to select "top". Happened to me in r/Abandonedporn
