zoom on images snaps back to original size

When viewing a low resolution image and pinch is used to zoom in, the image snaps back to 100% scale as soon as pinch is let go.

Thank you for the report! That seems to be the intended behavior, the image will snap back to the minimum zoom level (1:1 image pixel to device pixel), but allows you to "zoom further" while the gesture is active

The intended behavior is shit.

That is a bit uncalled for, that is how zooming works on iOS (intended by Apple, not by me). If you're noticing pictures aren't loading in full resolution, that is a different issue that has been fixed in the v7 TestFlights.

Once you move past 1:1, increasing magnification gets weird. Just use accessibility zoom if you really need it.

Thanks I forgot about accessibility zoom.

I don't know what you mean by increasing magnification gets weird, it works fine in most apps on android, but it seems not allowing zoom is the standard behavior in most iOS apps for some reason(I'm relatively new to using iOS).

Just saw this. So Ali went back and figured out what it was. I think there's some weird interaction that is from a combination of the interface setting for columns, sidebar visibility, etc. and whether or not the iPad is using landscape or portrait mode.

After some research on other iOS dev forums I'm pretty sure it's a Reddit/iOS interaction issue, independent of your app.
