Plugin license doesn't get applied when running PhpStorm as remote backend

While evaluating the Jetbrains "Remote Development" feature, I've noticed that my plugin license doesn't seem to get applied to the PhpStorm Instance that's running on the remote server. The plugin itself seems to work without issues in fremium mode.

Software Versions: PhpStorm 2023.2.4 Gateway 2023.2.4 JetBrains Client 2023.2.5
