community activity email
We should send regular emails about what's new in the Growstuff community, eg. recent discussions/posts, new members near you, etc.
At the moment, activity is pretty low - our release notification emails are almost the 'whats happening'. Perhaps we should manually do a roundup/newsletter/blog post and see if it gets any eyeballs - though I'm not sure if we have anything like google analytics running to measure it.
We use MailChimp, so there would automatically in MailChimp be stats for open rate.
And uh...release notification emails? I think only us Github people get those...
