Ratification of the Green Software Patterns v1

Context

The GSF Oversight Committee is starting to formally ratify projects that have reached a certain level of maturity. I believe that the Patterns project has reached that level with the current set of patterns.

The criteria for ratification are currently defined as: https://wiki.greensoftware.foundation/Document-Project-Lifecycle-a135d280736c46d2b0957eab96320d66

By ratifying Patterns v1 we can then turn our attention to v2.

Ratification Checklist

The project must meet the following Ratification acceptance criteria:

• [x] A public GitHub repo with clear project documentation that sets out:
  • [x] the project overview (README.md)
  • [x] how to contribute (CONTRIBUTING.md)
  • [x] end-user guide (ENABLEMENT.md)
• [x] An existing, versioned deliverable (v1.2.1)
• [ ] Evidence of real world use impact, including testimonials (ADOPTERS.md)
