Add Node and Data Node Count to Cluster Configuration Page

Open kingzacko1 opened this issue 5 months ago • 2 comments

What?

Prior to 6.2, the total count of Graylog nodes was prominently presented in the main Cluster Config (then Nodes) page Image We have consolidated that information into the Cluster Config page starting with 6.2 which removes the total count Image

While this is fine for deployments with only a handful of nodes, larger deployments do not have a good way to see a total count of active nodes without scrolling through the list. Adding a total count of active Graylog Nodes and Data Nodes would be a nice improvement.

Why?

Though this information is available if you click around in the product (System -> Overview for Graylog Nodes and System > Cluster Configuration > Data Node Upgrade for Data Nodes) it would be nice to have both of those numbers on the main overview page

See customer issue: Graylog2/support#316

Your Environment

  • Graylog Version: 6.2+

If we don't get to this as an independent task for 7.0, it has been marked for inclusion on a 7.1 pitch addressing these pages.

This appears to have returned in 7.1!

@tellistone closing this out since it seems to be resolved for 7.1
