Improved Sorting in Aggregation Widgets

What?

I have a data stream that includes CPU temp for every machine in my fleet. I would like to construct a data table dashboard widget that shows me the latest value from each machine sorted by temperature in descending order.

When I select the Latest Value function for my metric, I am unable to add a sort on the metric. If I use any of the other functions, I am able to add a sort on the metric.

Why?

Inability to sort when looking at latest values limits my ability to build meaningful dashboards for my data.

Hey @waab76, what is the use case you want to solve by sorting based on the latest metric?
