Custom metric color resets when changing metric name.
Expected Behavior
Custom metric color should be consistent and not change when the metric name changes.
Current Behavior
Custom metric color resets when changing metric name.
Possible Solution
Update the relation between the metric color and metric name, when changing the metric name.
When working on this issue we should consider refactoring / cleaning up the related code and dicuss how we can make the relation between colors and metrics more clear.

- Graylog Version: Current development version for 4.1
Still an issue in v6.0.6.
Actually, the colors seem to reset every time there is any change in the chart.
In my case, I've an Area Chart with a bunch of streams and the colors change every time I change the time range.

Thankfully, the color for the total message count stays the same, but apart from that it's hard to appreciate the added value of a visual representation that behaves like a kaleidoscope when you're trying to do some sort of investigation with it.
