Text on a path

Hi,

Searching for Text being able to follow a Path (eg an invisible curve) similar to Inkscape: https://youtu.be/B3MOgQjElJ4?t=323

I saw https://github.com/GraphiteEditor/Graphite/pull/374 but this still doesn't seem possible?

This is supported in SVG, so it should be possible with our current SVG-based render engine. But it wouldn't work with our current approach of interactively editing text, users would just have to be content with editing it in a regular rectangular area until completing the text editing to view it on the curve. I can envision the general UX for this working by using the Text tool and clicking on the edge of a path. Perhaps in that case, we'd insert "Lorem ipsum" or "Sample text" so it's clear what happened and the user can click it to begin editing (rectangularly).
