Dev-Tools with external Browser not working

Open MisterMister64 opened this issue 8 months ago • 3 comments

When you try to open on a desktop-chrome the dev-tools on Vanadium (Tried it with Pixel 8 and Pixel 6a, running Vanadium 138.0.7204.45.2) and want to inspect a site, in the popup you' ll get: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable on GrapheneOS USB-Debugging in Developer-Settings
  2. Open Vanadium and visit a random page
  3. On a Desktop download and install the latest verions of "Google Chrome" and android-platform-tools
  4. Plug the phone with a USB-Cable to the Desktop and trust it on the phone
  5. Start "Google Chrome" on desktop and type in the URL-bar chrome://inspect and press enter
  6. Wait until the phone with Vanadium was detected by Chrome ant then click under the page-title from that page, that you visit on the phone on "inspect"
  7. Now a popup will open with HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

What I except:

Confirming the same with Pixel 9 Pro, using Chromium on Debian 12 and USB debugging.
