Access Notes?
Is it possible to retrieve notes saved in Youversion via the api? If not, it would be a great feature to add. God bless.
Hi Paul,
It is not currently possible and I'm not sure it ever will to be honest. To accomplish this I would need to access a users account and I don't think that's currently possible to do safely as Youversion has stopped their developers program.

Hi Paul,
Previously I thought you were referring to user notes. If you are actually referring to these I can look into it.

Thanks for your response. I was referring to personal notes, as I have many of them. In the past, it was possible to pull up the web version and see all the notes there. But with a recent update, that functionality was removed. Unfortunately there is no way to extract notes. I was hoping that using the api would work :( Paul On Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 07:12:39 AM PDT, Glowstudent @.***> wrote:

Hi Paul,
I can definitely look into pulling personal notes but I can't guarantee I'll be able to. This would also be a separate project/repo rather than be implemented here as it would deal with sessions and other user data that shouldn't be in this project.

Hi Glowstudent, I'm circling back to this. I've been using YouVersion.API, and it's been useful. But, over the past 13 years I have created thousands of personal notes, with no method to search them. Paul On Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 10:59:32 AM PDT, Glowstudent @.***> wrote:

Hi Paul, please message me on Discord or Twitter/X. I'll look into it more extensively with some help and input from you.
