Unable to connect to server

Works great on localhost but I have had no luck getting it to connect to my server. Not sure what is causing it exactly, I know for sure it is something to do with this though, and not some firewall issue or other security interference. I have a hunch I am not using the connect token properly; that being said, I followed the documentation and example scripts exactly, with only switching "127.0.0.1" with my server's public ip.
